Πριν από λίγες ώρες πραγματοποιήθηκε η επίσημη ανακοίνωση των φετινών υποψηφιοτήτων για την 74η τελετή απονομής των Χρυσών Σφαιρών, live από το Beverly Hilton Hotel στο Beverly Hills.
Οι ηθοποιοί Don Cheadle, Laura Dern και Anna Kendrick, συνοδευόμενοι από τις τρεις Miss Golden Globe, τις κόρες του Sylvester Stallone, Sophia, Sistine και Scarlet Stallone και τον πρόεδρο του Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Lorenzo Soria, παρουσίασαν τους φετινούς υποψήφιους σε τηλεόραση και κινηματογράφο.
Η τελετή απονομής, η οποία θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Κυριακή 8 Ιανουαρίου, θα έχει ως οικοδεσπότη τον Jimmy Fallon του «The Tonight Show» και αναμένεται, μεταξύ άλλων, να τιμήσει την Meryl Streep με το Cecil B. DeMille Award για την προσφορά της στον κινηματογράφο. Η Streep έχει κερδίσει οχτώ Χρυσές Σφαίρες μέχρι σήμερα, σε ένα σύνολο 29 υποψηφιοτήτων.
Η πλέον ευχάριστη έκπληξη στη φετινή λίστα -παρότι ήταν αρκετές- δεν είναι άλλη από την υποψηφιότητα του Colin Farrell για την ερμηνεία του στον «Αστακό» του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου. Κοινώς, άνευ τρομακτικού απροόπτου, ετοιμαστείτε να δείτε τον Λάνθιμο στα Όσκαρ.
